Royal Victoria Hospital
About This Project:
It was an honor to be invited to paint the Royal Victoria Hospital, one of Montreal’s most prestigious heritage buildings. Over 200 window panes and a 3 story wrought iron gallery received thorough preparation including washing, scraping, sanding, caulking, and spot priming.
Level 1 and 2 paint technicians managed 1st – 2nd story coatings, while level 3 and 4 paint technicians mastered the technical harness work for 3rd – 6th story coatings. The finish product is the pride of our company’s history.
Bloor Street United Church
About This Project:
The Bloor Street United Church is an iconic landmark located in the heart of Toronto at Bloor and Spadina. Completing a full interior and exterior renovation, we prepped and painted 15 hallways, corridors, and stairwells, as well as 150 window frames. On the interior, doors, walls, windows, railings, and baseboards received some much needed preparation, priming, and finishing coats.
On the exterior, arching gothic stained glass frames were scraped, sanded, caulked, spot primed and restored with a beautiful coat of fresh white paint.
Mission Bon Accueil
About This Project:
The Welcome Hall Mission provides a wide array of men’s, women’s, youth, and children’s services in the Montreal community. Offering meal services, emergency and transitional shelter services, and more, the facility was in need of a fresh paint job.
We painted the entire interior services area including a cafeteria, hallways, corridors, stairwells, large bedroom areas, and bathrooms. All walls, baseboards, frames, and doors were washed, plastered, caulked, spot primed, and painted with two coats of premium quality paint.
Shepherds Of Good Hope
About This Project:
The Shepherds of Good Hope Support Services building provides a soup kitchen, grocery program, and clothing services to those in need in the Ottawa community. The property received an exterior and interior repaint of wood trims, and several service areas.
On the exterior, wood windows, doors, siding, and deck areas were washed, scraped, sanded, caulked, and spot primed before receiving a premium paint coating. On the interior, walls, doors, and baseboards were painted in the cafeteria, stairwells, and hallways.
Montreal Children’s Hospital
About This Project:
The Montreal Children’s Hospital Gilman Pavilion located at the corner of Atwater on Dorchester, received a makeover of 200 window frames, and several interior offices. The exterior windows had not received a fresh coat of paint in 30 years, and required a significant amount of preparation work.
The window frames were washed, scraped, sanded, caulked, and spot primed, before receiving two coats of premium quality exterior paint.
"40 Students showed up with paint, tools, ladders and harnesses, ready to take on the challenge of scraping, sanding, caulking, priming and finally painting the 100-plus windows of the three-story building. Nothing could dampen the spirits of these young men and women."
The Montreal Children’s Hospital
"The coordination of such a large crew was a delight to witness, and the unfailing politeness and good spiritedness of the student painters was much appreciated. The end result was a building looking better then it has for decades."
Bloor Street United Church – Doug Welwood, Chair of Church Council
"The workmanship was truly of great benefit in our century old building. The enthusiasm and attitude towards the task at hand was inspiring. Your donation truly made a difference!"
