Every year, in Ottawa, Montreal and Toronto, Scholars boasts its presence at local homeshows. Please consider yourself cordially invited to our booth, where you will see that our drywall, flooring, painting and home-maintenance capabilities rival the most professional of competitors, while offering a sharp pricing schedule that is backed with our industry-leading guarantee. With our multi-service platform, we are able to service several areas at your home, coupling convenience with quality, leaving you a satisfied customer.

Home Shows are the perfect venue to showcase our abilities. From pillar to post, we take a lot of pride in our ability to execute each element of the booth construction process flawlessly. This process begins with a service coordinator scheduling top of the line materials to construct our booth for both the painting and flooring teams. Veteran painting managers execute the construction process, and learn to further extend their trades expertise through building and framing our booth walls. Students install, fasten, tape and mud 4 x 8 drywall sheets to our frame. All seams and screws are finished with a 3-coat plaster treatment, resulting in a smooth finish and highlighting our attention to detail, even on a temporary construction.

Next our flooring crews install a new temporary floor, or lay an existing temporary arrangement. Our Homeshow floors are installed using ¾” Oak and Maple Mercier Pre Finished flooring nailed on top of a temporary ¾” plywood subfloor. These displays enables us to show different cuts and samples of various flooring products, as well as a wide selection of colour. The booth floor includes 3 ¼” and 2 ¼” Oak and Maple Mercier Prefinsihed wood, in an array of colours including, Rosewood, Cinnamon, Gunstock, Honey, Medium Brown, Chocolate Brown, and more. We pride ourselves on an extensive sample collection, and offer additional samples and other species and colours for viewing. We will find flooring to fit your needs, and care for your home with the same attention to detail that has built our brand.

To finish the booth, we install trim and crown moldings. A finishing crew of Painting managers completes the project by painting moldings, walls, and trim, and assembling our sample displays, tables, and slideshow presentation. The booth is then cleaned thoroughly, in keeping with every job-site handled by a Scholars crew.
