The Advantage of Youth

Every year since its inception, Scholars has continued to build on the community that supports it. With thousands of dollars of work, materials and labour committed to community home maintenance and special projects, Scholars has independently funded and completed several much needed community contracts. In 2009, we were pleased to donate over $25,000 in service contracts to various local charities across our communities.

This community outreach also serves as a mechanism to ensure that all the Scholars employees have a uniform standard of quality. Managers and employees are all certified in quality standards, and learn different preparation techniques, safety practices, as well as the process of opening and closing job sites. Comunication to property managers with regards to each step of the production process is an essential part of our training curriculum. 

Do you know of a housing contract that needs work in your area? Please call your local Scholars representative with suggestions. While we regret that we cannot take every charity contract that is submitted, we welcome ongoing suggestions of special families or individuals in your area who might need a helping hand, as well as community outreach facilities, or local community charities and centers who need work.
